Cell culture material

FCeM® Advance Preparation Kit

The FCeM® Advance Preparation Kit (containing FP003 polymer) not only makes it possible to achieve the function of cell dispersion and suspension culture without agitation but also provides high efficiency of cell recovering from the 3D cell culture suspension using our proprietary Harvesting Buffer followed by centrifugation.

SPHEROIDS / ORGANOIDS CULTURE

Spheroids in FCeM®
Advance medium

Conventional gel culture

Hydrogel culture is one of the most widely used methods for spheroids or organoids culture in vitro. In general, gel matrix materials are known as containing growth factors from natural tissues. Due to its natures, the following issues may be problematic.

  • Formation of hydrogel in culture medium requires temperature control on ice.
  • After gel culture, spheroids or organoids have to be collected from the hydrogel.
  • Identification of effective growth factor from gel matrix is generally difficult.
  • Application of hydrogels for clinical use is restricted because of the existence of animal derived materials .

Why Choose FCeM® Advance – 3D Culture

  • Viscosity of culture medium will not be changed!
Perform pipetting mix or dispensing of medium freely.
  • Unwanted aggregation between cell spheroids or organoids will be prevented!
  • Temperature control is not necessary!

Preparation of FCeM Advance for clinical use such as transplantation is now ongoing. If you aim at medical application, please contact us beforehand.

MSC SPHEROIDS PRESERVATION AT ROOM TEMPERAYURE

Spheroids of mesenchymal stem cells suspended in FP003-containing medium were stored statically in sealed conical tubes under room temperature and maintained high viability after 10 days. It indicates the possibility to apply FP003 for non-crypreservation of spheroids for long distance transportation and therapy.
