Message From The President
Thank you for visiting the Nissan Chemical Web site.
We are in unprecedented times, as global order is changing due to intense competition for hegemony among large nations and fears of social fragmentation. The spread of COVID-19 has accelerated changes in the social structure, and the environment surrounding the company is chaotic. We are at a turning point in society, where global issues such as climate change, population growth, the advent of a digital society and the increasingly diverse values of people must be addressed by corporate policy.
Taking this changing environment as an opportunity to expand the role of chemistry, we aim to build a stronger business portfolio by carrying out a growth strategy that looks ahead and addresses the issues transforming society. In doing so we will actively promote CSR management based on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance). Further we will take on the challenges of transforming ourselves with enthusiasm as we seek to create value sustainably.
Everyone across the entire Nissan Chemical Group will continue to strengthen our ability to respond to increasingly diverse and complex social demands.
