Dow Jones Sustainability Indices(DJSI)

Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) is a stock index jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices in the United States and RobecoSAM, a Swiss investment management advisory firm, to select corporates with excellent sustainability in the view point of "economics", "environment and "society".

"DJSI Asia Pacific", which is Asia-Pacific version of DJSI, is targeting major companies in the Asia-Pacific region and 153 companies (77 companies from Japan) were selected from about 600 companies in 2021. The Company is selected as a constituent of the DJSI Asia Pacific for four consecutive years.

FTSE4Good Index Series and FTSE Blossom Japan Index

These indices are created by the global index provider FTSE Russell (the trading name of FTSE International Limited and Frank Russell Company). The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.

The FTSE Blossom Japan Index is designed as an industry neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating strong ESG practices in Japan.

FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is designed as a sector neutral benchmark that relatively reflects the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in each sector. In addition, to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy, the index include only those companies whose improvement efforts are evaluated by the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) Management Quality Score, especially for companies with large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions.

These indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products, and FTSE Blossom Japan Index is adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as one of the indices utilized for making ESG investments.

The Company is selected as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series and FTSE Blossom Japan Index.

MSCI Japan Empowering Woman Index (WIN)

WIN is developed by MSCI, a U.S. ESG information agency that provides investors with a variety of tools to support investment decision-making. MSCI selects companies that are actively promoting women’s participation in the workplace.The Index is adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as one of the indices used for making ESG investments.

The Company is selected as a constituent of the MSCI Japan Empowering Woman Index (WIN).

S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index

The S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index is an index designed by S&P Dow Jones Indices and Tokyo Stock Exchange. It is designed to measure the performance of companies in the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX), (the “underlying index”), while overweighting or underweighting those companies that have lower or higher levels of carbon emissions per unit of revenue.

SNAM Sustainability Index

The SNAM Sustainability Index is an socially responsible investment product launched in August 2012 by Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SNAM) for pension funds and institutional investors who invest in a wide range of companies that are rated highly for their environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. Based on the index constituted by the individual stock selected consdering ESG evaluation ratings undertaken by research companies, management is made with a view to long-term investments.

The Company is selected as a constituent of the SNAM Sustainability Index.

CDP Water Secutity A List

CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world's environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states and regions. Founded in 2000 and working with more than 590 investors with over $110 trillion in assets, CDP pioneered using capital markets and corporate procurement to motivate companies to disclose their environmental impacts, and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests. Over 14,000 organizations around the world disclosed data through CDP in 2021, including more than 13,000 companies worth over 64% of global market capitalization, and over 1,100 cities, states and regions.

Since FY2019, the Company has been listed for three consecutive years on Water Security “A List” as a company with excellent sustainable water resource management by CDP.

Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program (White 500)

Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program (White 500) was launched in 2017 with the aim of expanding the number of companies working on health and productivity management. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council (Nippon Kenko Kaigi), which is composed of leaders of the economic organizations, medical organizations and municipal governments, jointly certify the companies practicing good health and productivity management in cooperation with health insurance associations.

We have been recognized under this program for six consecutive years .

Nikko Investor Relations Co., Ltd. " Survey of All Japanese Listed Companies’ Website Ranking"

Nikko Investor Relations Co., Ltd. ranks websites based on Understandability, Usability/Accessibility, and Variety of information. In 2021, the award was granted following an examination and evaluation of the websites of 3,888 listed companies, with 476 companies selected as award recipients (AAA Website: 191 companies, AA Website: 122 companies, A Website: 163 companies). The Company won the AAA website for four consecutive years from 2018.

Morningstar "Gomez IR Site Rankings"

Analysts at Morningstar Japan K.K. rank websites from an investor’s perspective based on their ease of use, the thoroughness of their financial and accounting information, the detail of their company and management information, and the extent of their transparency and information disclosure.

In 2021, the award was granted following an examination and evaluation of the websites of all listed companies in Japan, with 305 companies selectied as award recipients (Gold Ranking: 24 companies, Silver Ranking: 126 companies, Bronze Ranking: 155 companies). The Company has won the Silver Ranking for four consecutive years from 2018.

Morningstar "Gomez IR Site Rankings"

Daiwa Investors Relations Co., Ltd. "Internet IR Award"

Based on the concept of "5T&C", "Internet IR Award" selected by Daiwa Investors Relations Co., Ltd. is given to those companies that construct exellent websites for investors relations and effectively use the internet for information disclosure and communication activities.

In 2021, the award was granted following an examination and evaluation of the websites of 3,944 listed companies, with 126 companies selectied as award recipients (Grand Prize: 9 companies, Exellent Award: 14 companies, Commendation Award: 103 companies). The Company has won the Excellence Award.

In addition, the company has won the Excellence Award in the Sustainability Category, newly established this year (Grand Prize: 7 companies, Excellence Award: 16 companies).
