About Our Inorganic Colloid Material

Nissan Chemical has continuously supplied nano-colloids to a variety of industries for over 60 years with our unique particle control technology.

In 1951, Nissan Chemical started production of SNOWTEX® which was colloidal silica for use in the treatment of textiles. Due to the unique properties of SNOWTEX®, it was quickly adopted by other industries such as investment casting, paper, steel and refractory. More recently SNOWTEX® has been expanded to the application such as semiconductor polishing, display hard coatings and electrical insulation. It is increasingly valued as an imperative product for a wide variety of applications. In 1996, Nissan Chemical established a production facility in Houston, Texas, to strengthen competitiveness in US and Europe market.
We also launched other inorganic material, such as ORGANOSILICASOL and ALUMINASOL as well as enhance business further as a comprehensive supplier of inorganic materials.
