Nissan Chemical’s Semiconductor Materials business puts bottom anti-reflective coating (BARC), which is semiconductor material for use with semiconductor circuit formations, at the center of the enterprise and develops peripheral materials such as malti-layer process.
In the field of semiconductors, development of our operations began with a partnership of Brewer Science, Inc. (USA) in 1997 and the production and sales of BARC started in 1998. Our BARCs correspond various lines and uses, and have the largest market share in Asia. With the miniaturization and higher-integration of semiconductors, the demand for BARCs and peripheral materials have exceedingly increased and led to the large scale expansion of operations. |
